During the weekend of June 13-15, 2025 people from all over the world will meet to dance to the theme of „water“. And you are invited to join the dance! Antja Kennedy’s workshopperformance is for free and is open to all, amateurs to professionals, who feel like expressing this theme in movement.
Ort: PALS and Lebensgarten Steyerberg, Lower-Saxony, Germany
In the workshop we will connect with water in nature – feel it, move it, dance it. With the
tools from Rudolf Laban for amateur movement choirs, Antja will facilitate the choreographic
process with the existing skills from the group. Individually developed movement
sequences and structured improvisation phrases co-created in subgroups will be combined
into a whole dance piece within a very short time. The dance will be for the most part
created on-site on weekend of June 13-15, 2025 and performed on the Sunday afternoon,
with some preliminary online rehearsals beforehand on Zoom (see options below).
